Staduim Millenium in Cardiff will host the biggest Speedway Grand Prix.
But the practice was cancelled due to the poor condition of the track. Each rider drove three laps around the track and our Matej dissapointed realized, that on the one of the famous sporting facilities on the island, the track was not ready for a fight with the best riders in the world.
“The track does not hold together and is currently not prepared for racing. I hope overnight they will manage to produce the track in a condition for a safe racing,” said Matej after the cancelled practice.
As in Prague, Matej will have start number one, which means he has two red (inside) positions. “At the first gate position the line is concrete, very dry, so that means more disability then advantage,” explain Matej his draw of gate positions.
